Claire read over the rules of the book, just to confirm that she wouldn't accidentally erase herself or the book from existence in the process of changing things, as well as to make sure that nobody but the users/readers of the book would remember the changes unless specified otherwise by someone.
She decided that besides wanting to end the division between the sexes, she in general felt that sex and sexual attractions was also holding herself back. Accommodating for two different sexes was more trouble than it was worth, in the end. She looked through the book until she reached the section on human anatomy before carefully changing the book to say that humans, instead of having two sexes, were asexual, along with a few more details. Show closed the book and waited for the changes.
Rapidly, she began to notice her breasts shrinking, followed by her vagina sealing shut, and her body shape in general shifting to be androgynous. Her urethra moved slightly forward, enough that she figured that if she could probably pee both foward and standing up without making a mess Suddenly, her mind was flooded with information on how this world worked. All humans were referred to as "he", or the equivalent in any given language (feminine and masculine names were still used, but without regard for gender). Romantic attraction still existed, and people often lived together, but it was generally considered to be something closer to "really close friends". Similarly, cuddling naked with someone was also a common activity between friends, as was kissing, and other actions generally reserved for couples. In fact, kissing served as a way to transfer DNA. Starting at around the age of 15, it was possible, and if conditions were right: heavily desired to induce reproduction. This involves the cuddling of two individuals, which when desired, begin to form a cocoon. After staying in this cocoon for about a year (during which they may be supplied with nutrition through a tube), three individuals, each mixtures of the mind and DNA of the original two (and two with the original 'memories), will emerge. These individuals would then be designated a new shared first name followed by one, two, and three (with the third being the one without the personal memories). After which, it would take five years for the two and fifteen years for the third to being the process again.
Claire saw that his name had been changed to "Claire 3". It was a curious world, and he wondered how much it had been his desires for the details and how much it was for the books.
