The effects of the virus weren’t immediately obvious. In fact for a while people didn’t think that it did much of anything.
How little we knew.
Skin/Split Disease, colloquially known as “Cat Scratch Fever”, is a strange mutagenetic malady that transforms the infected subject into a large, muscular, rubber-latex cat woman. As it would happen, most people are infected with the virus and have no idea until they’ve been scratched in a particularly nasty way, specifically when said scratch breaks skin. When scratched in any sufficient enough way, the transformation begins to take hold.
The common symptoms of the transformation include:
-Swelling of the body, especially where skin tears are present
-Increased height and physical strength
-Heavy breathing
-Discolored skin (usually a bright color such as pink, blue, green, purple, yellow, chartreuse, maroon, lavender, peppermint, and so on)
-Light headedness
-Increases in sexual desire/libido
-Obsession with physical growth and/or exhibitionism
-Shift in disposition towards a more dominant and assertive personality
-Shift in vocabulary towards stereotypical valley girl plus caveman speech
-Starts referring to self in third person under a different alias
Before long, the infected will have shed their skin to reveal the juicy latex monster within. The form is usually that of a large breasted anthropomorphic feline of some sort. The infected will always become female no matter what. Upon completion of transformation, infected begin feeling the compulsion to find mates. They do so without mercy, dominating even the strongest of humans with little effort. Truly, these brutish bimbos are poised to take over the world eventually.
