As the Laurens finally finished up and lay next to each other, the original Lauren was stretched out on the left side of her bed, loving the feel of Banjo/Lauren's arms wrapped against her chest from the right. When they both caught their breath, it was original Lauren who spoke first.
"So is what we just did incest, bestiality, masturbation, or just regular lesbian sex?" she voiced what they were both wondering.
"Does it matter?" said her former pet. "It was wonderful."
"Well, now that we're both me, I guess we'll have to try this more often. But how will get to do things out of the house together without people finding out?"
"Well, like I said, we'll take turns a disguise and pretend to be Lauren's fake cousin. As for visiting your family, we'll just take turns visiting them separately."
"Well, yeah, but I'd kind of like to be able to introduce my parents to my real girlfriend. Especially since in a sexual relationship now."
Banjo/Lauren started to tear up. "We can't do this, can we? I can't give you what a real partner could in this form. I knew I should have gone back into my dog form. It was greedy of me to try to be anything other than just your pet."
The original Lauren grabbed herself around the shoulders and looked her in the eye. "Baby, don't ever think that you aren't good enough for me. You ARE me. And you know that I truly loved you in a different way even before that. We'll figure something out, like maybe another disguise thing, or some other kind of magical artifact, or whatever. And even if it turns out we can't be together with our parents, I want us to still share my life together anyways."
"You really mean it?" Banjo/Lauren smiled, wiping her tears from her eyes, knowing that she did. They knew for sure that both wanted this, because they were both Lauren.
They went back to their naked cuddling together on the bed, when another thought came to original Lauren's mind.
"Say, Banjo (I mean, other Lauren), how much of being a dog do you remember?"
"Well, pretty much all of it really. You bringing me home as a puppy, the squeaky toys you gave me, the food that seems so gross to me in hindsight, no offense. All the fun games we used to play at the dog park. It's just that I also seem have most of the major memories from your life, too. Why do you ask? Do you remember being a dog, too?"
"Well, no, not really. It's all sort of fuzzy. Like, I vaguely remember being here with and that you (in the human body) were my master, but it's hard to get specific about anything. I could smell everything, that's for sure. I definitely remember that I knew I was male. But it's really just like a dream that I already woke up from. I certainly don't remember your past from before we switched places, at least not from your point of view."
"Hm, that's really weird. I wonder if it's because I was originally a dog so that life will always be a part of me? But still, it seemed like when you were Banjo you couldn't even remember being Lauren."
"Well, I sort of could, but again, it was just like trying remember a dream. I'm not sure why the medallion affects you differently. Maybe it is because you were originally a dog."
"Well, if you ever get curious, I've locked up my old collars in a box in the closet in case either of us ever decides to be Banjo again."
Original Lauren's eyes suddenly lit up. She had just thought of something.
