Jennifer was very interested in the environment and decided to go to law school. She put her application in for McGill and was accepted for a masters of environmental law. After three years of hard work she did it. She had completed her masters with a thesis.
That summer she went to work as a legal clerk in court. She assisted by offering assistance and legal counsel to a judge when he was making decisions and writing legal opinions. That position lasted for 12 months and gave her great experience and contacts to grow from.
She spent the next two years as a public lawyer specializing in environmental law. In April of her third at the age of 44 in 2052 she was appointed to the Municipal court of Montreal.
At this time in 2052 her oldest twins, Jane and Michael, were at the age of 11. Her middle daughter was 9, her second youngest was her 8 year old son, and her youngest was her 7 year old daughter.
Five months later in September Jennifer was appointed to the Superior Court of Quebec. Four years later in December 2056 she was appointed to the Quebec court of Appeal. In September 2059 Jennifer became the Chief Justice of the Quebec Court of Appeals. In March 2060 Jennifer was appointed to the Supreme Court of Canada. A role which led to her becoming Chief Justice of the Canadian Supreme Court in January 2071 at the age of 63. She would spend 12 more years in this role.
In 2076 when the Governor General became ill Jennifer stepped into the role until the Governor Generals return later that month.
By 2076 her oldest twins, Jane and Michael, were 35 years old. Her middle daughter was 33, her second youngest was her 32 year old son, and her youngest was her 31 year old daughter.
In January 2083 Jennifer retired from the Supreme Court of Canada at the age of 75.
