“Actually, if you don’t mind,” you tell Utano, “I kinda want to meet the other club members. If I’m gonna be a member of the club I should ought to familiarize myself with everybody, right?”
“Hmm, too true too true,” the tanuki girl nodded, “Alright then. RRRROLL CAAAALL!!!” There was the sound of a whistle blowing as the other three girls lined up. “Now listen up! Whoever’s writing this schlock has deemed it necessary to flesh out the cast, so state your name and your fighting style, and say something interesting about yourself if you wanna.”
The first girl in line was lavender haired and puppy dog eared. She was the flattest girl here, and quite easily the most excitable looking. “Hi hi! I’m Juno! I like to punch things and my fists turn really big when I do it! I also like scritches behind the ears and going on scenic walks!”
“Yeah, she’s literally an excited puppy,” Utano smirked as she scratched the girl’s ear, “Yes you are, aren’t ya Juno! Yes you are! Yes you a-are!” Juno panted happily as she received her pets.
“I think I like her already,” you grin as you scratched under her chin, “We should hang out sometime, Juno!”
“Yay! That’d be so much fun!” Juno cheered, “I can show you all of my favorite gag manga like Prof. Slouch or SodaCrewAwesome!”
The next girl in line was a chubby panda girl with short black and white hair. She... she was asleep standing up. She was snoring and had that anime snot bubble thing going on. Utano tapped her foot impatiently.
“Pan,” she scolded her, “wake up and introduce yourself already!” The panda girl blinked her eyes and yawned.
“Hey, nice to meet you, Tammy-chan,” Pan smiled sleepily, “You can call me Pan, I guess. I am... uh... oh yeah, I have a ghost that fights for me in my sleep, which I think is pretty cool. I like to just chill out with quiet music and eat bean pancakes all day. We should chill together sometime.”
“That sounds lovely,” you smile warmly, “I can’t say I’ve eaten a bean pancake before. They any good?”
“Uh huh,” Pan nodded, “They’re like stuffed with a red bean paste that’s super sweet! I might bring some tomorrow if you want.”
“Oh heavens, no!” came the third girl in the lineup, “Surely she would much rather prefer some proper food, like cucumber sandwiches or Lobsters Thermidor.” This was a rather tall and slender bunny girl, and crazily enough the bustiest one in the club. She had mint green hair with two drill shaped ponytails.
Utano groaned, “Tammy, this is Lady Sayaka, the most stuck up member of our club.”
“S-stuck up?!” Sayaka balked, “Why... I never!”
“Just tell us your fighting style,” Utano sighed.
“Oh very well,” the tall girl rolled her eyes, “As it would happen, my hair is classified as a weapon. The ponytails are actually drills if you can believe it. My fighting style is centered around this fact. When not engaging in combat I like to cook or read mystery manga like Refuting Bullet or Detective Cho.”
“And that’s everyone,” Utano nodded, “Except I haven’t told you my fighting style yet! Well, since I am a tanuki, I can transform leaves into all kinds of weapons! They’re not the strongest but they’re great in a pinch.”
“You guys are all really cool!” you exclaim, “You know what? I think I wanna be a part of your club now! I think I wanna try...”
