Carrie looked over to the cow that carried her. It looked tired and weary, but still satisfied in a way. She moved her head closer to Carrie's and licked it, ruffling some of her head furs a bit. Carrie waddled over to her new 'mother', accepting now that she was a cow, and probably won't be back any soon.
The cow stood up, and nuzzled her head against Carrie's head. She seemed to form an emotional attachment to the cow, so she nuzzled back.
'Well what a cutie you are!' said the cow.
'What the hell!' Carrie said, stumbling back a little out of surprise.
'Oh, didn't mean to scare ya darling!'
Carrie was even more confused. She blankly stared at the talking cow with a puzzled expression. 'I am going crazy.' she said.
'Well, it's crazier to think your whole life is over just because you've turned into this milk-jug.' the cow chuckled, splaying her leg to Carrie, revealing her massive udder by her face. Carrie just felt uncomfortable.
'Can you help me?' she finally said.
'In what aspect?' The cow asked.
'In getting out of this stupid place.' Carrie said.
The cow frowned. 'I'm sorry, dear, but people who undergo the metamorphosis from human to cattle is........practically impossible.'
Soon after, Carrie also started to frown. 'So, am I really stuck like this forever?' she asked.
'Sadly so.' the cow said in a sad tone. 'Cuz I should know, I was in your exact same position when I was human.'
'You were human?' Carrie asked.
'I was, but it was too late when I was seduced by one of the other cows here. After that, I was reborn 9 months later. I'm pretty sure there's a cycle of absorbing and birthing humans into cattle.'
Carrie looked down in a sad manner.
'But don't worry, there's more to the life of a cow than just grazing and occasionally taking a shit every day!' she joked.
Carrie was unsure what to do. Now that her whole life was practically over, she didn't know whether to feel extremely sad and desperate or grateful that she gets to experience being another living creature. Actually, she probably wouldn't be grateful in her current state at all.
'By the way, I never seemed to catch your name by any chance.' She asked.
'O-oh, it's uh, Carrie.' Carrie replied.
'The name's Jess. Nice to meet you Carrie.'
