You begin your march back to police station with you taking up the vanguard making sure to scan each block you cross for more criminal girls. Greg and Marianne aren’t far behind you with Jimmy and Jane not far behind them. They pulled their faces from their screens after hearing of Jumpstart City’s dangerous streets.
After several uneventful minutes Greg strides up next to you and tries to strike up a conversation. “So we have you your name but I never got yours.” He says.
“Officer Toni Wallace at your service sir.” You state as you nod toward him.
“So Toni what’s the deal with Jumpstart City here? How long have you been on the force?” Greg inquires.
“One half of the city’s run by criminals, the other half is under the control of the law. Recently we’ve been loosing more ground to those lawless bitches. Our numbers in the department are dangerously low. I came and was recruited just yesterday to the force. Maybe you and your family could join the fight as well.” You answer.
“Possibly, I suppose that is what we’re here to do at Brawler Park. Kick butt and fight bad guys. You certainly carry yourself with more confidence than a rookie and that’s certainly an interesting uniform you wear.” He states gesturing to your high heels, crop top, and skirt.
“I assure you I’ve been brought totally up to speed by Captain Rodriguez, and this uniform is standard issue for all our officers.” You say crossing another street. Only a short way to go until you reach the station.
As you cross the street 2 blocks from the station, you hear what sounds like half a dozen women cackling in the distance.
*Oh no the criminals, there’s too many of them, I’ll surely be outnumbered.* You think to yourself. Just then your implanted police training takes over and you grab the radio from your waist and hold it to your mouth.
“This officer Wallace requesting backup at the corner of 54th and 9th. Multiple suspects closing on my position, over.” Several seconds pass until you receive a reply.
“Copy that Officer Wallace, Officer Olive and Captain Rodriguez are inbound.” You hear Olive’s voice crackle over the radio.
You motion for the family to get behind you as you draw your pistol and take cover near a shop, scanning the area for the incoming threats. You see 7 girls wielding shotguns and bats skipping toward you. “Hello their aren’t you a pretty family.” A busty goth girl says, “We just want to welcome these new folks to our wonderful town where you can do anything you want. They should come with us instead of dealing with the stuck up cops. Those girls are no fun.” She says pouting at the last sentence.
You pop out of cover and take aim at the girl. “Stop threatening this family, leave now or I’ll have to arrest you.” Your warning gets a hearty laugh from the girls.
“Oh these rookies get dumber by the day. You’re outnumbered here babe, and even if you’re entire force showed up to stop us, you’d still be down over 2-1. Walk away and let us have the new folks.” She says racking her shotgun.
“I’m sick of your talking bitch, let’s get this over with.” You respond before letting off several rounds at the girls. One strikes her leg causing a scream. As she yells out an order to attack. You hear pellets strike the car you’re taking cover behind, but your training keeps you calm as one of the girls leaps over the car and starts swinging at you with a bat. You deftly deploy your collapsable baton and parry her strikes and riposte with a crushing blow to her ribs as you grapple and throw her to the ground.
You quickly restrain her with handcuffs behind the car as shotgun pellets continue to strike the car in front of you. You look back at the Peterson’s and see they’re luckily unharmed cowering inside a building, the parents with a child under each arm.
You peek over cover for a moment and fire towards one of the exposed criminals striking her in the shoulder. She lumps behind cover as you take fire once more. You feel trapped and like you’re doomed with the numbers advantage, but then you hear the wailing sirens of a police car. You hear the screeching of brakes as Olive’s patrol cruiser drifts around the corner and the two veteran officers leap out, catching the girls by surprise and engaging them in hand to hand combat.
You watch in awe as the two take down several of the criminals before the leader orders a retreat, screaming how she’d be back for them. In the end, 4 of the 7 were arrested and 3 including the leader escaped.
“Good job handling yourself out there Wallace. Get the Petersons back to the station, we’ll handle these criminals.” Chief Rodriguez orders as the children are in awe of the officers incredible display.
