“It was the Gust-Gust Berry,” Utano explained, “Now you can transform your body into the living embodiment of the wind! You can turn your legs into a tornado, your arms into gale force winds, and turn as invisible and intangible as air! I bet you could even blow up a hot air balloon in one breath if you blew hard enough! Wanna give your new power a shot, Tammy!”
“Oh definitely!” you nod excitedly. You start thinking very light and airy thoughts and focus on your tail. It starts to swirl and whirl, spinning faster and faster as its physical form disintegrates into air particles. Soon it becomes a roaring twister that starts whipping papers and stuff around the room, making a huge mess!
“WAAAH! MY HAIR!” Sayaka cried, “MY DRILLS ARE COMING UNDONE!”
“Wheeee!” Juno cheered as she was light enough to be lifted by the wind.
“Tammy-chan,” Pan protested, “Can you please stop? You’re making a mess and Sayaka spent all morning organizing the books!”
“Oh. Oops, sorry!” you exclaim as you turn your tail back to normal, “Guess I gotta learn to control this thing. That felt really cool though!”
“Heck yeah, buddy!” Utano pumped, “That’s just the beginning though! Pretty soon you might be able to get strong enough to tear down cities with one blow!”
“She ruined my hair though,” Sayaka whined, “You better pay my salon bill to fix this or else, you squirrelly dunce!”
“Aww, come on Sayaka!” Juno exclaimed, “She didn’t mean to!”
“Which is why I’m only making her pay for my next hairdresser appointment,” Sayaka snapped, “Just be glad you didn’t decide to intentionally ruin my hair, or else you would really be facing my wrath!”
“Alright ladies, let’s all just settle down,” Utano defused, “We have our first new member in months, so we should celebrate this occasion! To whit, tonight is now officially MOVIE NIGHT! Let’s hit up the Jumpstart City cinema, they’re holding a Studio Ghibli marathon!”
Everyone else stared at the tanuki girl. She just mentioned a real world property and got away with it. “How?” Pan asked.
“Aww calm down, it’s fine,” Utano shrugged off, “We can say the real things uncensored so long as the park paid for licensing rights! You wanna argue or do you wanna watch some Miyazaki masterpieces?”
“We get to do a movie night!” Juno cheered, “I’m going to eat so much popcorn and gummy bears!”
“I love movie theater marathons,” Pan smiled, “I take the best naps during them.”
“Well alright,” Sayaka sighed, “At least let me grab a hood to cover my ruined hair! I can’t let the guests see me be imperfect.”
“Uhh, isn’t Tammy a guest?” Utano reasoned.
“Barely,” Sayaka answered, “She smells like fresh polymascotfoamalate.”
