Shea ran up in a puff. She couldn't believe her mom was being so unreasonable. She was just trying to be safe. Shea entered her room in a bikini and saw Oliver standing there with the camera. Shea froze. Oliver turned to say hi to shea but noticed her fear.
"What's wrong babe? Did you not want me to touch this camera?"
Before Shea could answer Oliver accidentally took a picture. Oliver had meant to just take a shot of his girlfriend, but his thumb was just in frame enough to have himself transformed as well. The room lit up as Shea's heart sank.
FLASH
Rebecca had been relaxing by the pool, waiting on Shea to bring her the camera when reality changed. As she took a sip of her lemonade, then gasped as she saw the window above her flash up quickly, causing her to nearly choke on the straw.
"What the hell?!" She thought, quickly hopping up to investigate.
Rebecca wrapped the towel around her upper body, ticking it slightly into her breasts to keep it steady. She then tied her hair back, slid on her flip flops and marched inside.
As she got to the door, she realized the light had come from her storage room. Had someone broken in? She entered cautiously, expecting to find some burglar, but to her relief there was nobody in sight. She glanced around, seeing boxes of different items stacked up around, and nothing that seemed out fo place. Well, all except the camera which laid in the middle of the floor.
Suddenly, a slight noise from one of the boxes startled her. She stepped back, only to sigh in relief with a chuckle as her orange tabby cat waltzed out from behind a box.
"Oh, you naught naught kitty Shelly!" Rebecca chuckled, picking up the cat to stroke it. "You just love knocking over Mommy's boxes don't you?" She asked, chuckling as she said so.
She put the cat down and watched it stride out of the room. Although Shea had been aware of the camera's existence, she wasn't aware of the transformation, meaning she could not keep her human mind. As a result, shelly wondered what her servant had been talking about, then felt the camera was important, but then thought just "food" and started heading towards her bowl downstairs.
Rebecca watched the cat walk out, then looked down at the camera. A photo had popped out! She picked it up, and nearly dropped it in shock. In the photo was her cat, Shelly, but beside it was her pregnancy test from a few nights ago! She had wanted to surprise her husband Paul soon with the news, so had hidden the positive test in the storage room. She wanted to show him the camera that day as well, but now she wasn't so sure.
"Wait... so, that would mean Shelly was something else?" She gasped. "A-and... what does that mean for my baby?" She muttered, holding her stomach.
Inside, there were barely a few cells, but they slowly reforming Olivia back into existence, albeit with a new mother and genetics.
"No, no it can't be..." Rebecca mumbled, nearly about to cry.
