Jack and Rex had taken the ad down to the room they were told, and sighed themselves up for the test. They weren't told what they would be testing, but the thought of a million bucks between them was all they cared about. They were lead to a white room, with two giant pod like structures in the middle connected with wires and pipes. They were told to strip down, and stand in the first pod.
They climbed into the small chamber, and had to stand with their shoulders touching so they could fit. They could see a giant number "1" written on the door. They both looked at each other a little worried, neither knew what to expect. Jack decided to break the awkward silence, "So, a million dollars... What should we buy first?"
"Maybe that boat." Teddy laughed feeling more relaxed. They were joking around when they heard a voice coming from a speaker. It told them the machine would start and that they should stand still. There was a very loud humming sound, and the little pod began to shake. There were sparks of electricity flying through the air, and Jack and Teddy felt like they were being pulled apart at the atomic level.
There was a deafening sound of thunder with a blinding flash of light. The two felt disoriented, but when they got their hearing back, there was an alarm blaring, and someone yelling over the intercom that something had gone wrong. Tedd was coughing with all the smoke in the air, while Jack tried waving it all away. When the smoke dissipated, they could see that there was a number "2" on the door.
"What the?!" Jack was taken aback, he reached out and touched the door. "Number two? Did we... just... teleport?"
"Ya man, I think so..." Teddy turned to look at Jack, but smacked his face against Jack's head. Teddy used his left arm to rub his face, "Ow, why are you standing so close to me?"
"I don't know, why is my hand on your face?" Jack tried to turn to Teddy, but every time he moved, Rex moved with him. He spun around a few times making them both dizzy.
"Jack, stop!" Teddy threw his arm out to stop spinning. "Why are you moving me?
"You? I was just moving myself..." They both turned their heads slightly to look at each other with worried expressions. Jack was the first one to look down, and screamed in horror. Teddy gulped and slowly glanced down. He too was terrified at what he saw. Jack and Teddy had been fused together, and were now sharing one full body below their separate necks with two heads.
