"What have you got there Em?" Emily jumped, turning to see Olivia had snuck up behind her.
Emily was so busy looking over the camera and trying to figure out how it had changed that girl she hadn't heard her friend approaching. The sudden movement as Emily turned caused the camera to go off.
*FLASH*
"Olivia?" Emily raised an eyebrow at the young girl before her.
It was still clearly Olivia. Perhaps not clearly, but she had some similar features. What made it difficult to know for sure was the fact that this was a girl at least half Olivia's age. She looked even a little younger than their college days, like she was in her last year of high school. Olivia's breasts were large and perkier, and long blonde hair trailed down her back. It was almost like looking in a mirror, and seeing a slightly different version of herself when she was that age.
"Mommy, stop playing with that dusty old camera. You promised you'd take me shopping for new outfits today. My closet is filled with old stuff from last season." Olivia stomped her feet and pouted, her voice a little more shrill and higher than Emily was used to.
Emily paused for a moment, realizing Olivia had become her daughter. Obviously she still looked somewhat like herself, with Richard being her relative, and now her father she still had some of those genes. But now Olivia was her little girl, and she'd spoiled her princess like she'd always thought she would if she had a daughter. Olivia also confirmed that with awareness for those changed off she thought this was all normal.
"Well get dressed and we'll head to the mall. I can't have my princess walking around in old rags." Emily smiled as Olivia gave her a hug.
"You're the best mommy!" Olivia cheered and hurried upstairs.
Within half an hour Emily and her new daughter were at the mall. They'd talked the entire time about different gossip, how popular Olivia was at school and everything else. It was all Emily ever wanted from a family, and she didn't even have to go through a real pregnancy.
