When Tag and Paul finally calmed down from laughing over their pets last change it got late slowly. „What to change next, Tag?” Paul asked.
„Well, maybe we could give them some animal parts, but I would need data first. And it doesn´t work with data from the internet, so I must scan real animals. I thought I can go to the zoo tomorrow to scan the animals there, then we can have fun with that tomorrow evening. For now, we can only remove parts or exchange them with the little data I have.” Tag explained.
„And what data do you have?”
„Well, I scanned a dog, a pigeon and a cat from the window as I was trying the V-pets functions out while you were inside.
After thinking a bit Paul suggested: „How about this, we give them each a tail, maybe Chaos gets a dog one while Spooky gets a cat one. Or change their hands and feet into paws and their body to be four legged?”
„Interesting idea Paul, let´s see what we can do.” Tag answered before he selected Chaos again. He found the add-part bar and choose a tail. The second bars drop-down menu listed „None” as selected and dog, cat and pigeon, as well as another bird for options. Another option was called extra, and Tag and Paul quickly looked into the manual what that meant.
„When extra is selected for a body-part, the user can choose more unnatural solutions. How about an extra arm and hand in place of the pet’s genitals or tail? Or an extra eye instead of a belly button? You can also choose to add the selected body-part in another place than normal. How would your pet look with a tail growing out of its forehead?”
„Also, interesting ideas, but for now we stay with something more normal.” Tag said grinning at the possibilities. But he selected dog for the tail Chaos would get.
Chaos yelped when said tail shot out above his ass and looked shocked at his new body-part. Tag quickly continued with selecting Paul's suggested cattail on Spooky. He too yelped when the tail grew out. But Tag had changed the color of Spooky's new tail to sky-blue with a green tip so seconds later the color changed for all the fur on Spooky's new tail.
Both Tag and Paul laughed again at the sight, while both Chaos and Spooky turned red in embarrassment. But when Tag and Paul finished laughing Tag decided: „Okay, that was really fun, but it is enough for today.” Without waiting for a reply from the pets Tag activated sleep mode for them and they dropped down sleeping.
„We can have more fun tomorrow Paul.” Paul nodded and they both ate a snack before Paul headed off to bed himself. Tag had other plans.
He turned one of the downloaded pigeons into another copy of Paul before transferring all changes made to Chaos to the second Paul, as well as all mass needed to make the former pigeon human-sized like Spooky and Chaos were. With that the pigeon was now Chaos, Paul's pet, while Tag could have fun with the original Paul, who was now even smaller than the pigeon had been, not that he would notice.
