April was around the corner and winter was finally over. As a season of new beginnings in general, almost everyone was doing things to make either themselves, their homes, or their communities better. While Animalia wasn't the least of these, they were focused on other things.

Animalia Ambassadoria was getting their "permission slips" filled since they were being assigned to do small stories and coverages at certain colonies for Spring Break. While there were a few schools and/or colleges that weren't doing Spring Break, that was mainly due to the fact that the pandemic had those few schools open late. For those that didn't, Spring Break was a good way to unwind before the final quarter of school.
Some were being sent to Mieni Atoll since spending time at the beach was one of the ways to unwind at Spring Break. There were still Coronavirus restrictions in place, but it was still going to be a fun time for many, even though there would be a few "covidiots".

Some were being sent to Dino City instead. Though this wasn't much of a vacation compared to Mieni Atoll, this was because of the new "rich people district" of Dino City that Sophie and Roland wanted some help covering, since it was going to be considerably than Lyre/Animalia's new "rich people district", partly due to the size of the new, wealthy, Dinotopians, including Mister Diamond. Part of what aided the notoriety was the woman who complained about the people that wronged her at a local council meeting, which actually had nothing to do with the meeting in general, much to the painful amusement of everyone who witnessed it.

Others were being to Heiya Island to cover the Cherry Blossom Festival that was going on there. While nothing was going on that was too risque, they were still to be on their guard since the girls that had been rescued from the human trafficking ring were known for getting a little "touchy-feely" with new Animalians, though it was being kept in relative check by now.

There was still one more group that was covering Easter in Lyre/Animalia, which was a little different this year. While the "Easter Bunny Show" at the Meat Market was being considered as a more "premium" coverage, the one that was getting the most attention was the Easter Egg Hunt, due in no small part to Bunni (or Hulk-Bunni, or Gamma-Bunni, as she was known on the website) serving as this year's Easter Bunny. Due to sharing a similar first name, Bunni Clair, legally, added 'St.' to her name to differentiate her from Bunni, so she was now known as Bunni St. Clair. After doing some research on the 1960s singer she now shared a similar name with, she decided to do some part time singing, but taking care of Owen was her first priority.

There were some who were saying that the year was moving extra quick this time due to all the good things happening and 2022 was going to be one of those bad years, but there was no proof to back up that claim since nobody was a fortunetelling, and fortunetelling was a very imprecise art anyway.
