James writes around the pond for a couple days. No humans came by. He made himself a little nest under a log to protect himself from predators, and found a nice batch of flies every now and then.
He hated his life, but his new bodys natural instincts kept him alive. He would allow his muscles to take over during different times of the day. This dehumanized him further. Just an ugly dumb toad, living a life no one new or cared about by this one little pond. Maybe forever.
Just when he lost hope of seeing a human again, even a mean one with a vise like grip, he heard loud footsteps.
"James? You around?"
Kayla emerged from some tall weeds and eyes the small frog. "There you are!" Her eyes lit up evilly.
"It came to my attention that you might not be suffering enough. Like I couldn't locate my own spelled frog. So I came up with a solution. There will be a small, private auction tomorrow night. And you, a human mind trapped living a frogs life, is the item up for bid."
James panicked and tried to hop away, but the human was much larger and faster, scooping him into a small cage.
"Prepare for a whole new level of humiliation"
