The battle rages on and you can hear a butt rock anthem pounding through the park speakers. Pan’s ghost body slams into a pair of assailants tossed its way by Sayaka’s hair tentacles. Juno punches a punk in the gut with a fist the size of a basketball and sends her flying towards Utano who smacks her away with her tanabo. As two of the ruffians attempt to flank you, you quickly whip up a tornado around yourself and send them flying.
“Agh! The frick?!” one of the crime girls shrieks, “These kiddies have super powers?!”
“Yeah well we got a real-ass knife!” the lady wielding the weapon cried, “Let’s show them they ain’t got nothing over us!”
“Tammy! Look out!” you heard Utano scream before you suddenly felt a sharp pain in the back of your calf. Everything around you suddenly seems to freeze all at once as your body locks up with pain. The mascot body suddenly feels surreally like your real one as you feel burning hot blood trickling down your calf as the criminal yanks the knife back out. You collapse to the ground, a strangled squeak of pain inching out of your throat.
“Oh shoot! That’s freaking awesome!” the knife girl grins, “Real glad I got ahold of this thing! Who else wants a taste of this thing?!”
