“Well, just take a look,” your mom says, grabbing her cellphone off the table, and after a bit of struggling with her more piglike hands, managed to pull up a video from your sister Grace’s Instagram.
The loud, prolonged “baa” your sister gave off in the video told you all you needed to know, and you reflexively turned away. Something about her current half-sheep state repulsed you.
“Augh, gross,” You mutter.
“They’re still your sisters,” your mother reminded you, sternly. “But I don’t know...”
“They can’t come into pig territory,” Trevor said with a shake of his head. “Even if they wanted to, it’s an act of aggression.”
“Grrrrnk!” Zoe grunts in frustration. “Who cares! So they’re a bunch of stupid ewes! I still need to be a full sow already!”
“Of course you do, sweetie,” your mother says. “Sorry you had to find out about that, Jay. Some of us are a little shaken.”
“Yeah. I uh... I’ll see if... I dunno. Maybe there’s something we can do to save them?” You don’t really want to save them, but you feel obligated to say that.
“Yeah, maybe,” mom nods her head.
