Megan glanced down at her phone as she regarded the new app she'd just downloaded on a whim. Her girlfriend Chloe had agreed to meet her at the mall after school, but she'd just texted her to let her know she'd be a little late. That wasn't terribly surprising - Chloe was one of their school's star soccer players and she was in bunch of clubs and things, so it wasn't unusual for her to have things come up. Megan had been wandering around passing the time when she saw the odd little store with the display for the new app by the window; not having anything better to do, she downloaded it.
Megan was a fairy ordinary looking nerdy girl; she had short, curly dark hair and wore glasses, and her face was pretty - at least, that's what Chloe always said - but not remarkably so. Today she was wearing her Wonder Woman t-shirt and jeans and had a bag with her school stuff, her current book and some art supplies slung over one shoulder.
As she was studying the app, she looked up for a moment and saw Laura and her boyfriend Steve walk by, arms around each other's shoulders and lips locked as they loudly made out. Megan made a face at the sight; Laura was the head cheerleader and Steve a popular football player, but neither of them had much use for anyone who wasn't up to their standards, which was most people. Laura also had a tendency to make rather homophobic comments; though Chloe never had a problem sniping right back at her, Megan always felt hurt by them.
Suddenly a grin spread across her face. That this app worked as advertised seemed impossible, but what if it did? Maybe it was time to try it out and get a little revenge. Megan held up her phone and selected Laura, then generated a sentence. It read 'this teenager is currently passionately kissing her boyfriend.'
