Turning on the sink to wet some hand towels, James glanced at himself in the mirror. He immediately noticed some odd discoloration around his nose. The skin looked dark and leathery and even seemed to glisten somehow. Reaching up to touch it, he noticed it felt moist. 'What all exactly happened to me last night?' he thought. 'Hair and skin in new places, trouble peeing, odd discolorations on my face. I might as well be falling apart!' He wasn't even thinking of the nutty goth woman who guided him into a private tent for seemingly no reason. For now, such an insignificant occurrence was still far back in the dusty file cabinets of his mind.
"Take it easy James," he said to himself, trying to keep himself grounded. "It's going to be alright. Dr. Leland will know what to do to. I'll just call his office later and see if he has any open appointments in the next week." James didn't THINK he was dying. He sure smelled healthy enough if the wall was anything to go by. But James did think it was time to freshen himself up as much as possible and start his day.
James decided the towels were wet enough to be of use in cleaning up the wall, so he turned off the water and knelt down to start wiping. He managed the clean up the floor a little bit, but he had trouble convincing himself to finish wiping from this close to the wall. The scent of his urine there was still strangely comforting for him, and he decided he could wait to get that part wiped away. Instead, he stood up, turned on the shower, and lathered up some sponges to keep going with his morning routine. James was prone to singing in the shower, and today was no exception.
"I've put a spell on you! Dee da da da da! Hmmm hmmm on you! La la la la la!"
His private solo was interrupted when he tried to wash his ass and felt the bony protrusion that had grown enough to stick out from the top of his crack somewhat. It was over two inches long at this point.
"Shit! I really did end up with some kind of damn hernia. Leland's sure gonna have his hands full when I get into see him."
Continuing to lather and rinse in various places, James noticed that his chest hair had lightened to a golden brown color, which he wasn't expecting. It didn't look much different other than the color change, but it was a jarring contrast to his head hair if one were to look closely. Of course, a slight change in his chest hair was trivial compared to what else he had experienced, so it didn't hold his attention for very long. Feeling his dick covered in a sheath that was in turn covered in soaking wet fur was far more unsettling, but not for any reason he could pin down other than the fact that it suddenly happened overnight. He kept on sniffing the air every now and then, getting hungrier as the smells of food came wafting in from different angles; Shruti's bacon was still detectable, and Mr. Mezzolado was fixing hamburgers for lunch downstairs. James could still smell almost every kind of food he was keeping in his own kitchen, and it was getting hard to wait for breakfast, or rather brunch as it were.
Turning off the water and reaching for a towel, a shiver went to him and caused him to flail from side to side on impulse. He shook his head and every inch of his torso in turn. He wrapped the towel around himself and stepped out to put on his proper outfit for the day. Passing by the wall one more time, he caught whiff of his personal marking one more time and wiggled his little nub. Pulling on the greater part of his clothes, he opened the door and stepped out into the apartment.
