Leah was glad the suit had arrived on time as her friend Gina was hosting a pool party that day. Leah quickly finished getting ready before heading out. As she arrived at Gina's, she found that many attendees had already arrived.
Walking up, she noticed that her peers were hanging out around the chairs and tables while the pool was mostly full of children. Leah realized that meant she wasn't going to do much swimming today which was a big let down, but at least she'd get to catch up with some of her friends she hasn't seen in a while.
Speaking of which, Leah sought out Gina and greeted her.
"Hi Leah glad you could make it! Is that a new swimsuit?"
"Oh yeah it just arrived today."
"It's a great look for you. I swear in that you don't look a day over 30," Gina said with her usual penchant for flattery.
Gina was soon pulled away from the conversation by one of her kids, while Leah was suddenly overcome with a strange sensation. Feeling slightly queasy, Leah went to the restroom. There she splashed some cool water on her face and soon found the sensation fading.
Relieved Leah lifted her face and found herself puzzled by her reflection. It was subtle but it almost did look as if she were a few years younger. She wanted to write it off as her imagination but the strange advertisement did mention something about regaining youth. Was that strange sensation caused by Gina saying she looked 30 actually making her 30? Leah felt silly for even considering such a notion but it kept bugging her as she returned to the party.
