Ollie dug through his boxes. He knew he had an old costume from when he was a kid and dressed up as an orc for halloween. All the costume was was a little green paint and some tusks, along with what seemed to be a little amulet in the shape of bones and a skull. He eventually found it, chinsey plastic of course.
"Not sure that this would work." he moaned...frowning as he held it aloft. "Well it's worth a try."
He donned the amulet over his neck and started to reach for the paint and tusks when suddenly he felt a strange energy. Looking down he gasped as he watched the chinsey plastic start to mold and meld to real bone! Each one taking one tone and detail as it became real bone, and even the small skull amulet seemed to take on definition and weight and the cheap cord became a hempen rope. Before long, the costume jewelry was real jewelry, and he could feel its weight and coolness of the bones on his skin.
Ollie couldn't believe his eyes, and then, the same strange warmth of change began in him. The skin all over his body began to tone and darken...as if growing a tan, but then the tan turned green. His nails on his hands and feet became slightly sharper, and he felt a pain as his two lower incisors suddenly grew out into tusks. he felt his earch pinch as they turned pointed....and shivered as his hair shortened and shifted, leaving his head shaved bald save for a short mohawk.
Stumbling over to a mirror. Ollie gasped. A young orc boy stared back at him. He was still recognizably Ollie, but no longer nearly recognizably human!
