Sara was a college age girl who was a bit of a diva. She had been browsing Instagram for the latest makeup trends when this ad caught her eye. Not aware of the dangers of clicking unknown links, she opened the ad.
"Wow! A new job with no schedule and no responsibilities! I can set my own schedule!" Sara thought to herself. "I bet I could buy myself a new car in no time with this job! She typed in her address and clicked SUBMIT.
The next day, her doorbell rang. Looking outside, she saw a fairly large box from Cloe's Own. "Wow, they even have overnight shipping!" She brought the box in and tore into it. Inside the box was well over $500 worth of beauty products. "I can't believe they sent me all this for FREE!" she screamed. "Laura! c'mere!" she yelled up excitedly to her roommate. "Can you believe they sent me all this for free? Grab whatever you want and let's give each other makeovers!"
The girls spent hours trying out different looks, matching makeup shades with their outfits, and so on. Sarah settled on a dramatic smoky eye, with winged eyeliner, and dark red lipstick. Laura couldn't decide so she told Sara to "just have fun." When Laura looked in the mirror, she was wearing eyeshadow in a rainbow of colors, green mascara, purple eyeliner, and bright blue lipstick. "Cool," Laura said, lets go out for lunch!"
"You mean you'd go out looking like that?" Sara asked her.
"Sure, why not? I mean, it's only temporary, and you gotta have fun every now and then. Let's go to Panera and count how many stares we get!"
Laura definitely got reactions at the restaurant. When she walked in, everybody that saw her did a double take. One little boy looked back and walked into a door. A guy refilling his soda forgot to stop and coke poured all over the floor. Even the cashier had to ask for her order again. The girls found a table and sat down. As they were eating, they saw their friends walking in. "Jessica, Samantha, over here!" Laura called loudly. Her friends looked around to see who called them. "Over here!" she said again. The two girls walked over looking confused.
"I'm sorry, do we know yo......" Jessica's voice trailed off. "Laura! What are you wearing all over your face? I love all the colors! I didn't even recognize you when we walked in!" she said.
"Oh!" said Sara, "It's a new makeup brand that I'm selling. Why don't you come over to my house tonight and bring some friends? Laura and I are having a pool party! Drinks are on me! I can show you some of the latest products that I have in."

Sara's friends showed up later that night. She showed off the Cloe's Own makeup, and many of her friends tried them on and bought from her. The girls had fun giving each other more exotic looks. After the makeup party, the girls jumped in the pool. The swam around for a while, but when it was time to get out, they noticed something. "Hey Laura," Jess said, "you've been swimming for a while, and you're still wearing the same makeup you had on when I saw you at the restaurant. Nothing has even smudged!" They all looked around and began to notice that their makeup hadn't run at all.
Laura splashed water on her face and rubbed it with a towel. "Did any come off?"
"Not even a little bit!" Jessica said. "Wait! So how do you take this makeup off?!?!" Jess was obsessed with comic books, specifically Batman. She had started by putting on green lipstick because she wanted to look like Poison Ivy. but then she got carried away and had coated her face, neck, and chest in a layer of green eyeshadow. She stared at herself in a mirror, and scrubbed at her face furiously with a wet towel. "NONONONONONONO! I can't be stuck like this! I have to give a presentation at work tomorrow!" Sara looked around the pool at all of her friends. There was Poison Ivy, a mermaid, a fairy, a unicorn, a pink kitty, a fox, and a green and purple tiger. Everyone had gotten rather creative on each other's face.
Sara grabbed the product that had turned her friend green. Flipping it over, she read the back. "Warning: All products become waterproof when they have set. To remove, use Cloe's Own special formula makeup remover. Make sure you have remover before using this product or it will not come off!" She dug through her supply box frantically. To their collective relief, Sara pulled out several small bottles. Rubbing just a dot of makeup remover on her face, Sarah washed her makeup off with ease. She gave a bottle to each of her friends. She gave one to each of her friends before they went home.
"Well that's a relief that we didn't just turn all our friends into exotic animals." Laura said.
"Yeah, but it is pretty cool that you'll never have to worry about your makeup running again!" said Sara. I'm sold on this product and I already made over 200 bucks tonight. I need to go order more tomorrow because I'm running out! Do you want to try selling Laura? You'll make a killing in no time!"
"Well, I guess I can try it." Laura said.
