There were lots of new options under Mythology - some he didn;t know - what was an equitar? Or a hippocampus? He did remember that a Minotaur was a big bull-man. That sounded cool.
He highlighted the image of Timmy and then selected Minotaur. More options popped up. After looking over the choices, he selected adult/male/black fur/red eyes/white blaze from the body choices and then selected unaware/friendly/semi-intelligent from the mental choices. Then he clicked on Save.
The little boy sleeping on the bed stretched out suddenly, black hide sweeping over his body as he doubled, then tripled in size. The mattress sagged, and then the bedframe collapsed as he swelled to a huge size. Timmy was now a good 8 feet tall and had to weigh 500 pounds. He sat up and stared at Jake with blood-red eyes. A powerful odor hit Jake's nostrils - minotaurs stank!
The room seemed to blur slightly, and Jake blinked to clear his eyes. At first, nothing seemed different. But then he realized the ceiling of the room was ten feet high instead of 8, and the door to his room was wider and taller than it had been. The mattress was on the floor, but looked like it had never had a frame, and all the sports posters he had stuck on his wall were now pictures and posters of minotaurs!
Why had HIS room changed? That didn't make any sense. As Jake turned back to his computer, his bedroom door opened and his mother stuck her head in. She looked at Timmy and smiled. "Your mother called just now. You can sleep over tonight, but tomorrow you have to go back to the pasture." Then she looks over at you. "And remember, Jake! No nose ring until you are 18!"
