As the store was struggling financially, the owner decided to come up with some new products in an attempt to lure fresh customers. After doing some research, the owner, a powerful wizard, determined that skincare products were all the rage at the moment. But it seemed like not all skincare products worked as promised for everyone. This was a niche in the market that the wizard could use his magic to fully explore.
He spent weeks developing serums, lotions, and toners to appeal to all demographics and all skincare needs. Best of all, no matter who used a product, it would always work. The wizard set up the display at the front of the store to attract customers. Soon, he became known for his flawless skincare products.
The success inspired him to expand his skincare line even more. Now, there were products for every age group, for every gender, for people who were pregnant, for people who wanted youthful skin, for people who wanted more even-toned skin, drier skin, moister skin, softer skin, rougher skin… Any possible change that someone wanted, the wizard had a skincare product for.
He had assumed that the product would be self-regulating; that people would stick to their demographics and skincare needs. After all, his items were expensive. As such, he didn’t worry about adding in a failsafe to the spell to prevent things from going haywire if someone used an item they weren’t supposed to.
His theory was proven correct, until one day, a new customer walked in and purchased something they weren’t supposed to have…
