On a dusty back shelf of the shop, an old crystal ball has sat idle for years. It is slightly odd looking, milky and seemingly opaque under a layer of dust, with a vertical notch on the backside of the orb. "The Crystal Ball of Desire! See who you truly are today!" is engraved in faded letters on a tarnished plate loosely affixed to its wooden base. It looks like it belongs in a cheap carnival. Of course, this crystal ball is much more than any carnival gimmick: the notch on the back of the ball is actually a slot, and the magic imbued within the crystal will slowly but surely transform whomever inserts a coin into the orb. The higher the coin's value, the more thorough the transformation. Coins may be added to further progress the changes, but it can't be reversed unless it's brought back to the magic shop. Most people don't want to change back, though...
