Later that day, you were back home, occupied with lifting weights. You do remember buying these before the change, hoping to build some muscles to get people’s attention; nevertheless, you were unsuccessful. But with Max’s body, lifting heavy weights was an effortless task. Similarly, the tiring exercises from PE seemed a whole lot easier now.
Just when you're about to do some push-ups, your phone rings. Picking it up from your pocket, you see a notification — a message from that girl you met earlier today: Melissa.
"Hey, Max. Don't forget about the basketball game tonight. I'll be waiting for you ;)"
You forgot that you gave her your number. Back in your old life, having girls going out of their way to talk to you was inconceivable, let alone hitting on you.
"I'll be there soon!" You reply.
You do remember her saying that the game starts at 7 p.m., which means you've got almost an hour before to get there. Luckily, the school’s basketball court was a walking distance away. So without any further delay, you take off your sweaty tank top and briefly admire yourself in the mirror. You run your hands over your hardened pecs & and abs, which stood out thanks to the absence of chest hair.
You apply some deodorant to hide the odour of sweat from all the workout. After that, you grab your polo shirt and put it on, leaving it unbuttoned to show all the bodybuilding you've done.
It was time to head out. You walk your way to school, entering the basketball court, several students welcome you, all of whom used to ignore you. You see Melissa sitting there, waiting for you, so you get yourself seated next to her.
"I'm so glad you could make it." She purred before leaning to kiss you.
But before your lips could meet, someone interrupts you.
"Yo, Aleksandrov! Why don't you play on our team? We figured we could use a guy like you."
You can't believe it. Eden Mullins, the best basketball player this school ever had, is asking you to play with him?
"But… I don't have the uniform, or skills to play basketball." You reply reluctantly.
"Oh, I'm sure you'll do fine. And don't worry about the uniform, we’ve already taken care of that. So, what do you say?"
