“So this will really make clones of anyone I point it at?” the nondescript teenage boy asked the scientist who presented him with the device.
“Oh it will, it most certainly will,” the scientist lady assured. She was a rather rail thin woman with long blonde hair that looked like it hadn’t been cut in a long time. She had a bit of an excited grin on her face as she explained how the ray gun she was demonstrating operated. “All you do is aim it at the desired target, pull the trigger, and it’ll zap a clone of them into existence! You’ll have able to tell the clone apart from the original because the clone’s eyes will just be one solid color and they will be completely obedient to you. They can even shape-shift if you ask them to, like so!”
The scientist aimed the ray gun at her head and blasted herself. In a flash of golden light, a naked woman who looked exactly like the scientist appeared. She had solid blue eyes and an exaggeratedly excited smile on her face. The teenager was impressed.
“Oh wow!” he exclaimed, “How much are you willing to part with it for?”
“Aww, just take it for free and have fun!” The scientist said as she handed the gun off to the boy, “Clone me, let’s fly away!” The clone suddenly sprouted wings and her feet became bird talons as she whisked the scientist away, presumably never to be seen again. The boy stared at the device in his hand, his mind racing with possibilities.
