Liam made everything that Claire had planned out to happen exactly as she wanted in front of them. And then, the scene plays out.
Mr Miller stood by the front of the class, teaching. That’s when a knock came to the classroom door. In walked Miss Daniels. She was a very pretty Latina woman, however, she wasn’t overtly sexy. She had a petite body with very minor curves, which only really complimented her very lovely attitude. She was kind, sweet, and always helping anyone she could. Her voice was soft and calming. Most students enjoyed being in her company, male or female. She was, at this point, two months pregnant with her first ever child. She had been married to a man, but after knocking her up, had left her. She didn’t even know where he went, but coped without him. She still wanted to have her child, even if she didn’t get to raise it with it’s father.
“M-miss Daniels,” Mr Miller stuttered his way across to greet her. It was public knowledge that Mr Miller had a crush on Miss Daniels even when she was married, “what a pleasant surprise,”
Everyone in the class giggled, knowing the extended context. Miss Daniels seemed to be oblivious to the truth of her secret admirer. She chuckled, “don’t worry, I’m just dropping off the papers you asked for last night,” she said, “where do you want me to put them?” She asked Mr Miller,
“Oh, uh...” he went blank for a moment, “just in- I mean on my desk, please,” he said, awkwardly smiling after. She smiled back, making her way to the left side of the classroom (from the students’ point of view) and placing the stack of papers on his desk.
She turned around, intending to get out of the way of the lesson, but came face to face with Mr Miller. Their noses almost touching. They both blushed, but didn’t immediately move. Mr Miller then realised his whole class was watching and quickly moved out of the way for her to leave.
The whole class was giggling, making the situation even more awkward.
As she was approaching the door, Jane decided to speak,
“Miss Daniels,” she started, “do you know if it’s a boy or a girl yet?”
Miss Daniels stopped and slowly turned around to face Jane, managing to just miss Frank’s newest additions,
“I’m not sure, I don’t really mind either way. Whether it’s a boy or a girl... I’ll.. I’ll love them...” Miss Daniels tried to continue speaking but stopped. She almost looked like she was going to throw up. She fell, only catching herself on Frank’s desk.
Mr Miller ran over and pulled her up. He looked into her eyes, they shared a brief moment...
