The Earth Day Celebrations in Animalia wasn't as big as other celebrations, partly due to the pandemic that was finally reaching the endgame, and partly due to the fact that Earth Day wasn't as big a holiday as some others were. Fortunately there was still a music concert featuring songs by Animalian pop stars such as New Age Venus and Canary Diamond, as well as predator Animalians scaring human visitors who weren't as "clean" as they should be, so it was still fun. But since the 2021 IAC and the 2020 Olympics in Japan (which had been delayed due to Coronavirus), there were those who were really doubling down on their training/prep since Olympic athletes would be compared directly to amateur Animalian Athletes. There were still a few unusual things that kept things fresh and new.

"Rock", who was now a bit more accepting of him being a "bald bull" (due in no small part to Mable's help and acceptance), got a bit of a surprise when a PR-MD agent approached him and Mable while they were at the gym.
"So I saw that you had registered for the IAC Bodybuilding competition, right?" asked the agent.
"Right." said "Rock", a little unsure at what was going on.
"There's nothing to worry about." replied the Agent, "It's just that this year, a few events were moved to other colonies. The Bodybuilding Competition is going to be taking place at Mieni Atoll."
"Oh?" asked "Rock", a little surprised.
"Don't worry," reassured the Agent, handing him a travel brochure, "Travel restrictions are easing up with the pandemic coming to an end, so you and Mable can spend an official first date there."

Juliet Renard-Argenté was also learning a new thing: RHS symptoms can manifest no matter how long ago conversion was. She was learning this first hand after the three remaining girls had undergone conversion, becoming a mare Animalian, a sheep Animalian, and a dog Animalian. They had decided to do a collective celebration at the Meat Market thinking it was just another restaurant at the Worldmeet Glade and only discovering the truth after they had entered. While the shocked, surprised, and slightly embarrassed looks were to be expected, it was what happened next that was brand new for all of them.
They had gotten their food (which wasn't solely focused on meat) and their drinks when Juliet Renard-Argenté learned a new thing that she should have known earlier. All it took was a few glasses of champagne (from a vintage that her family had sold for generations) for her to become tipsy enough for RHS symptoms to manifest, which were (or weren't) helped that there was a monthly amateur strip show going on. It wasn't long before she was spinning around one of the poles on stage with surprising skill.
After she had sobered up enough to learn what she had done, she was having second thoughts about not having her girls be whores. Fortunately, the representative for the French government she had been speaking with had a fallback plan ready for the call he made this time. He had gotten together a list of French porn stars who wouldn't mind becoming Animalians for the new French colony that was being planned. Juliet was slightly more glad about that because, while she still didn't want her girls being whores, she decided not to stop them if that was what they wanted, thanks to her new point of view (and karma's twisted sense of humor).

With the current school year ending, Heiya Island was going to start something new. With some final "leftovers" gathered from the most recent human trafficking ring that specialized in male Animalians, there were finally enough to begin a pet project that both Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi had been working on for the last year or so.
To help put a stop to the internet rumors about what the rescued guys and girls were being used for (private orgies and/or Asian brothels being the majority of said rumors), they had decided to start up a kind of school that could be best described as a "samurai prep school". While there had been plenty of unusual private schools depicted in Japanese anime and magna franchises, the "samurai prep school" on Heiya Island would be more like a prep school version of WSA, which some would be relieved about and others (guess which ones) would be disappointed about.
It was also confirmed that Nate would be moving in with the Five Elements since he was in his final year of college, but there were some things people didn't talk about in public, and Shuixing's relationship with Nate was one of them.

With everyone looking forward to the 2021 IAC, and the pandemic finally winding down, everyone in Animalia and its colonies were looking forward to a much better summer than last year.
