Sarah's desire to remain safely outside of this house had only grown stronger after seeing the seemingly impossibly well preserved furniture. There was no way she was going inside, but she couldn't let Alexis go in by herself either.
"Alexis please don't go in it's not a good idea," she desperately insisted.
"You worry too much. Come on the front door should be over here."
Following after her, Sarah hoped the door would conveniently be locked. No such luck came as Alexis reached the door and easily twisted the creaky knob.
Panicking Sarah said, "I wish the door won't open."
As the light faded, Sarah found herself very noticeably shorter and less developed which only made the present location more unsettling. On the brightside, 12 year old Alexis was now squinting her eyes through a pair of neon-framed glasses at the knob which had come off in her hand.
"Well that's dumb," Alexis said puffing out her checks in annoyance.
"Well I guess we can't get inside now Lexi," Sarah said relieved.
"Not so fast scaredy cat. There might be another way in," Alexis said as she dropped the useless knob and started marching around the perimeter of the building.
Sarah trudged after her, why can't Alexis just leave well enough alone? At least there's probably not a back door for a place like this. Of course, as soon as that thought crossed her mind Alexis pointed to a cellar door. Feeling her blood run cold, Sarah imagined climbing into some creepy old cellar in her preteen state.
