“For one, you could contact the Sulgan tribe.” Said Verix thoughtfully.
Zarsh let out a long groan and put her head in her hands.
“Ohhh, no. Not those crazy bitches.” Zarsh said.
Verix just chuckled at this.
‘Who are ‘the Sulgan’?” You ask Verix but Zarsh answers instead.
“An insane misandristic xenophobic all female lizard tribe two days to the east of us.” Zarsh said with a sigh. “From what I understand they were made from the surviving wives and daughters of two separate tribes because all their entire male population killed one another.”
“According to legend, the goddess herself spoke to their founder and ordered her to create a tribe free of the corruption of men.” Verix added wisely. Zarsh seamed to scoff at this and brush off the priests words.
“For a while our hunting lands overlapped, that’s how I learned about them. Around about two winters ago I sent a group of what I felt was some of our strongest or smartest females and Tharss, in the hopes of negotiating an alliance, it at least open up the potential of trade .” Zarsh continued “The best Tharss was able to get was a ‘you stay out of our territory, we stay out of yours.’ Something about ‘Not negotiating with those carrying the stink of men’ or something.” Zarsh shrugged “I figured that was as good a deal as we were going to get and they haven’t bothered us since then.”
The black lizard man scratched his chin.
“What makes the Sulgan unique from other all female tribes is the fact that they have somehow managed to last two generations.” Said Verix.
Zarsh blinked at this.
“I hadn’t heard anything about that.”
“Of course YOU wouldn’t.” Grumbled Verix before continuing. “Even if they don’t have a way to turn an entire tribe female, talking to them could still prove valuable in ensuring your plan lasts longer than a single generation.”
‘They sound perfect.’ You say, ‘Who should I bring?’
“Well Tharss for one since she knows the tribe and how to get there.” Said Zarsh. “Aside from that you need to remember they despise males, so anyone you bring needs to be either female or form former males...”
