With the changes completely inputted into the Chronivac, Jeff sat back as the changes commenced.
He held up his hand, and watched as his palms grew hard, with thick pads on them, and his thumbs just vanished into thin air. "Woah..." he said. It was really happening!
His legs no longer touched the floor. They seemed to be shrinking, and as they did, he could feel himself pitching forward. He half-leaped onto the floor in front of the Chronivac, his head looking down, until it swiveled around, his collarbone began to flex, his shoulderblades separated from where they were attached, his arms no longer needing to lift, instead adjusting to favor speed and agility.
His head rotated as his spine shifted...standing on all fours and looking up no longer felt uncomfortable, as his body was increasingly built that way.
His clothes vanished, as they no longer fit his altered body. Jeff was getting increasingly more excited, experimentally running around the room in a small circle. He was able to walk over to the mirror and have a look at himself. His torso seemed to be getting thicker, possibly to keep heat in...after all, he wasn't wearing any clothes anymore...
He opened his mouth, noticing that his teeth seemed a bit sharper, along with the muscles around his jaw. He'd done it, this was what he was meant to be, this was what....
Jeff's thought trailed off as his forehead began to shrink, and with it, the brain inside it began to change, parts of it shutting down, being repurposed, or otherwise vanishing. With it, his sense of self began to fade.
