“L-L-L-Longer. Please make it longer, Doctor” begged James in a desperate attempt to re-experience the orgasmic sensation of sprouting his new tail. “Now that’s the spirit!” replied the hefty hippo who easily hopped off of the boy’s back despite her bulk. Almost immediately the Giggle Gas began to refill James’s body, which started to pop back into shape from its flattened state. Doctor Small, happy to satisfy the teen boy’s request and glad to see his body responding in proper toon fashion, reached to grab an oversized pair of forceps from amongst the implements hanging on the rack next to the mallet. “These oughtta do the trick” the toon hippopotamus proclaimed, wielding the forceps like a giant pair of pliers and grasping the base of James’s tail. “Yes! OH, YES!” screamed the teen into his mask as he relished having the sensitive base of his furry tail touched for the very first time. “Heave, ho” cried Doctor Small as she tugged with the forceps pulling out a good three inches of grey ink and paint tail from the groaning boy’s spine.
Riveted at the sight of James’s fluffy tail thrashing around the back of the ambulance, Cheryl and Kelly secretly found their classmate’s tail growth both horrible and strangely arousing. Mikhail, for his part, was too distracted by his own dilemma. Nurse Stripes had cut off his shirt with surgical scissors and was getting ready to shock him with the toon defibrillator. As for Mr. Gaffer, the students’ teacher was deeply embarrassed by James’s behavior. Rather than watching inch after inch of squirrel tail push from Jame's backside he instead was choosing to examine his lower forearm and hands. These had turned an inky black and were sprouting a fine layer of black fuzz.
“Again! Again!” screamed the out-of-control James through his mask. The teen boy's reluctance to accept his growing toony nature had been wiped away thanks to the dose of Giggle Gas he’d received. Instead, all James could now think about was growing the largest and bushiest squirrel tail he could manage as he curled the soles of his oversize pawfeet in the anticipation. “What the patient wants, the patient gets. Once more then. Heave, HO” cried Doctor Small as she braced herself against the gurney and pulled another couple of inches of tail from the convulsing boy. James’s mouth opened in a silent scream of pleasure as he felt his tail lengthen once more.
“J-J-J-J-Just a little more. Please, Doctor Small. Oh, PLEASE just a bit more,” pleaded the transforming teen, his triangular ears beginning to droop from exhaustion. “Well, I need to check on my other four patients but since you asked nicely, we’ll try and get you a few more inches. Ready?” asked the doctor, adjusting the forceps' grip on the base of James’s tail. The teen tensed his body causing his grey tail to leap up straight as a board, the entire length vibrating in comedic anticipation. “HEAVE, HO!” yelled the doctor, throwing her weight across the ambulance but somehow managing not to loose her grip on the forceps. “EEEEEEEEEEEEEaaaaaaahh” shrieked James through his mask. His fists pounded the gurney as he felt the the doctor yank an astounding twelve inches of squirrel tail out of his spine. Gasping to catch his breath, James managed to glance behind him and smiled through his Giggle Gas mask seeing that he was now the proud owner of a huge bushy squirrel tail, the fur on top colored a handsome medium grey with the underside a light grey, and the last foot or so spiraling inward into the classic question mark shape of his species.
Doctor Small was satisfied that James was well on the road to his toon recovery and turned to her next patient.
