Dorn University is a smaller undergraduate institution located in the Midwestern United States. The campus’s neoclassical architecture sits on roughly 96 acres of land surrounded by woodlands and wealthy suburbs. The university has an acceptance rate of about 33 percent making it fairly competitive to get into. Although it doesn't have a reputation as a party school the Psi Rho Upsilon fraternity and the Tau Tau lambda sorority have thrown some pretty entertaining get-togethers. Generally the 2900 student community is fairly cohesive and tight knit, and there is a non-existent crime rate within a 30 mile radius of the university there is something odd about the school. Non-students and alumni feel as if something is constantly hovering of the university covering every crevice. This weird phenomenon associated with the university doesn't seem to affect students and alumni of the university. We are about to follow a freshman on his journey through the respected yet still peculiar academic institution. Alex Henderson (18) is a first generation college student, majoring in mathematics and was lucky to receive a good scholarship however he still had to take out some loans. His family doesn't really care about him, and he is essentially on his own. He lives in a two person suite in the Regal Dormitory building. His roommate Jack hardly rarely ever spends time in their dorm, so Alex is often alone. After revising some notes Alex wants to get a breath of fresh air, he opens the door and walks down the stairs to be greeted by the beautiful and lush greenery the surrounds the campus.
