Jen grabbed an apple and turned to the door before her mother could ask her more questions.

"Almost missed the bus again didn't you?"
"No I was did not had to hurry" Another harmless lie from Jennifer her side. She could keep this up Jenn decided, she had to! But then Susan just had to notice her bulge. She started whispering.

That question was way too specific a question for Jen to think up a harmless lie in short order. As before Jen ran out of time and the curse took over forcing a lie out of her.
