As the group waited to check in they saw A gaggle of women were stepping out of an elevator.
And they weren't human. Each of them was covered in fuzz, had a snout like an animal, and had a long tail swishing behind her. "What the heck?" asked Cory.
"Weird costume convention?" Ali said.
They were all kinds of creatures, Some of them looked like kangaroos, with tall ears and springy tails, while others had horns behind their ears and weird bulges low between their legs. Definitely female though, what with the heavy breasts.
One of the roo-gals walked up to the incoming football team with a spring in her step. "Hi there! I'm Sandra. Looks like we'll be sharing the resort with you this weekend."
Coach Williams shook her hand and said, "There must be some mistake. We booked the whole place."
"So did we. The hotel staff warned us when we arrived this morning, but there are enough rooms for everyone and we'll all get discounts." She smiled. "Maybe we can meet up for lunch? I bet our group can eat at least as much as hungry football players."
The two of them talked. Cory stood there scratching his head and asking Ali, "What's with them?"
Rock said, "Furries!"
Ali said, "Seriously, it's one of those meetups? That's messed up."
"Never heard of one for just gals though," Cory said. The coach meanwhile went to the front desk to argue with the staff, then gave up and grabbed a bunch of room keys to hand out.
Ali shrugged. "Well, as long as they don't get in our way, maybe it's okay. Cows, though? Why would anyone dress up with an udder? Freaky."
