Meanwhile, on the other side of the lunch room, a fellow classmate of Miles and Victor sat alone. Her long black hair flowed behind her black and purple dress, as she ate a simple Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich she had brought along with her today. this girl was Lisa Conroy, and was secretly a witch in training.
Lisa had discovered her powers just about one year ago, when she looked around the attic and figured out that she came from a line of magical women. Strangely enough, Lisa's mother showed no signs of having the same powers and knowledge that Lisa did, so Lisa either speculated that her grandmother never told her mother, or the magical properties skipped her mother's generation for some reason... either way, this put Lisa in a bit of bind in terms of her continued learning of her magical powers. With her mother clueless about it, seemingly, and her grandmother passed on, all Lisa could go by was the bits and pieces she learned in her family journals. It's not as if she could put out a Craigslist add for witch training.
Well, Lisa was pretty open that she was a Wiccan, but that mostly amounted to people mocking her both behind her back and right in front of her. But Lisa didn't mind. She was never really the one for friends. She was satisfied learning to levitate TV remotes and change the color of her hair on a whim. Who knows, maybe the discovery of her family lineage would someday pay off for her.
As Lisa bit into her sandwich, suddenly her eyes widened... for the first time in her life, she sensed a magical energy not her own.
Lisa quickly turned around and scanned the room, trying to find the source. Her eyes finally landed on Miles and Victor, sitting together at another table... or wait... Nellie and Victoria? Holy shit! Lisa suddenly remembered two different realities, one with Miles and Victor as boys she mostly ignored, and one with Nellie and Victoria, who she was at least casual acquaintances.
Lisa couldn't believe it. An actual reality altering spell was happening right in front of her! Lisa could only dream of doing stuff like this. Whoever was in charge of this spell was clearly powerful. Lisa could maybe make slight alterations, that were quite noticable, like her whole hair color thing. But this? This was on another level. Like, Victor and Miles were literally becoming women, and nobody batted an eye expect her!
Lisa had to go in for a closer look. Picking up her sandwich and her bag, she rushed over to their table, trying to play it as natural as could be, hoping not to disturb whoever was making this spell.
"May I join you two?" Lisa asked as she approached the table. Miles and Victor looked at each other.
"Sure!" Victor said. He was ultimately too friendly to deny anyone really.
"Cool with me, Lisa." Miles said. He never actually had a problem with Lisa. In fact, he had heard some of the guys make fun of her Wiccan beliefs. Maybe she could help them!
Lisa sat down, as the magical energy around Miles grew. She smiled, knowing something was about to happen to her.
