Seeing the towering figure of Professor Henderson looming over her, Hailey hoped the woman would soon be demanding this horrible mistake be fixed. Instead the Professor didn't give her a second glance as she spoke to a staff member.
"As you can see all of your students have been successfully issued their Immersion Passes," said the staff member.
Nodding Henderson looked over some paperwork, "Yes, everything appears to be in order Adam. I just need to confirm a couple of minor points on some of the passes..."
A befuddled Hailey stared at the two did they see what had happened to her? Unsteadily climbing to her feet, Hailey took a few unsteady steps over to Henderson. Hailey tugged on her pant leg trying to get the woman's attention.
Henderson regarded Hailey with a look of annoyance before saying, "Well it looks like you have other clients to deal with. I will call if I need anything else."
Adam nodded as he gently scoops Hailey off the ground. As Henderson turned and began walking away, Hailey tried to shout a panicked call for her help, but all that came out was a stream of babble which did not cause Henderson to acknowledge her. Frustration at being abandoned like this caused Hailey to burst into tears.
Seemingly unmoved by the Hailey's distress, Adam spoke to the operator of the booth she had been transformed by, "What's the deal with this one? I thought we were only doing Havenrock students this morning?"
The other man shrugged, "Not sure I think she was a last minute schedule. Let me double check the log."
