"And what about you and Adam, huh, Victoria? It's been just over a year of you dating now, right?" Jennifer said, turning her attention to Victor.
A year? Miles was even more confused now. Wasn't it just two periods ago that Adam and Victor were really getting into it? Now they had apparently been dating for a year? Reality was shifting every minute, it seemed, so much that Miles really had a hard time keeping up with it.
"Oh yeah, A year and two months." Victor responded with a smile. "But who's counting?"
"I saw you two really going at it in Science today. Man, you're so lucky to be so involved like that." Janice said.
"You think you two will be staying strong after graduation?" Janice said next.
There was a slight pause in the conversation. Miles took note for the first time today that Victor's new personality didn't seem to instantly have a perfect response. But Victor was still all smiles, and finally had something to say.
"Well, that's a ways off, isn't it? But I can't imagine we're going away anytime soon. Adam and I are as happy and can be. We're a regular Flynn and Rapunzel." Victor said.
"What?" Stacy responded.
"From Tangled. The Disney movie." Miles responded. How did he even know that?
"Very underrated musical, actually." Victor said. "I'd love to perform I See The Light at some point on stage."
"Why didn't you just say Brad and Angelina? Or Chris Pratt and Anna Farris?" Janice said.
"They all broke up, didn't they?" Victor responded.
"Wait, Chris and Anna broke up?" Janice said.
"Where have you been?" Jennifer responded.
"Fictional couples are better relationship measurement. You never have to be worried about them breaking up." Miles said. Where was this even coming from? It felt so wrong and yet... so natural to do.
"Unless there's a bad sequel." Victor responded.
As the group continued to converse and debate the merits of real couples vs. Fictional couples, Victor's lips plumped out a bit, gaining a very nice coat of red lipstick. His eyes became a bright green, his nose slightly smaller yet wider, and his cheeks rather smooth. He laughed through perfectly white teeth as he gained a superbly attractive face. Miles, meanwhile, went through similar changes. He now had blue eyes, and pinker lips, a great smile, and small nose, and smooth skin as well. Slight make-up appeared on him as well. Although most wouldn't call him as attractive as Victor from society's standards, Miles now had a very pretty face as well.
But neither of them really felt the changes. They were too engrossed in the conversation with their new friends. That is, until the bell rang, as it was time for History Class.
