The truth was that they had P.E Class next. But since the curse forces her to say the opposite of the truth, she instead said, "We have computer class. I don't know why you keep forgetting that."
Jen looked back to see Amanda with a thoughtful look on her face. "Yeah. I don't know why I keep forgetting either. For some reason, that's the one part of my schedule I keep forgetting. It's starting to become a problem."
Susan chuckled. "I don't blame you. Computer class is pretty forgetful. Don't you think Jen?"
Unsure what could be the opposite of the truth in this case, Jen let the curse answer for her. " I don't think so. I'm actually the top in the class. Computers can be pretty fascinating once you get into it. I just with they taught us more challenging stuff. I guess that's what led me to building my own computers at home."
That answer surprised Jen, but now it's too late to change it. She now remembers being a huge computer nerd. Luckily for her cheerleading reputation, she does a good job at hiding it in public. In her past life, Jen despised anything that could be considered remotely nerdy, even though she self taught herself the basics through necessity. She suppose it's not that major of a change for now, but she worries that could lead to a major one later. She rather like to stay fit and athletic.
It's at that point where Kyle, Tiffany and Tina has split from the group. Seems that they have different classes.
Upon arrival to the class, Jen is bombarded with a sense of nostalgia and fear. Nostalgia because of her memories of loving computers. Fear because of her first life hating the idea of being seen with computers and just doing nerdy stuff. Her memories just gives her a weird emotion that she doesn't recognize. Like she feels the need to be extra cautious about her image here.
Not that really matters, since everyone in class knows her as the computer expert, and a lot of the beginner students would constantly flock Jen with computer questions, and she would answer.
"Hey Jen, how do you save this text doc?" A student asked.
"Um.. You push the red X button". Jen answered.
Needless to say, she pretty much changed how computers work that day.
Once the questions died down towards the end of class, Jen found herself just focusing on her computer work while sitting next to Susan and Amanda. They have since given up on completing their assignment, and decided to just browse the internet for memes and anything that could catch their attention. Their assignment is due by the end of the week, so it's not like they need to worry about it, right? Jen meanwhile, already finished the assignment on the first day and now she is going above and beyond to make sure her paper is a extra high quality just to challenge herself. Her focus on her assignment has attracted the attention of her friends as they watch her work.
"Wow Jen, how is your eyes not hurting? You got magical dragon eyes or something?" Amanda commented.
Jen wasn't even paying attention. For some reason, she was having a lot of fun with her assignment. As a result, she responded with. "Yeah. I don't need to worry about my eyes ever going bad."
The next thing she knew, Jen's eyes became green slitted reptilian eyes. Due to how people imagine dragon eyes to be like, Jen's eyesight became a lot more better. A lot more sharper and able to see more details. Jen can also see magic lines that no one else sees, but it's not like Jen can actually use magic, so she just kinda ignores them.
"I'm more impressed by her ability to type so fast without making any typos. It's almost like she has racoon arms or something. Don't you think so Jen?" Susan commented.
Once again Jen wasn't really paying attention. "Yes. Though my racoon arms are larger then a normal raccoon's."
And just like that, Jen's arms went from hoofed cow hands that typed with lots of practice and mastery, to furry racoon hands that can type much more easily.
Luckily for her, Susan and Amanda decided to not say anymore and just focus on looking at funny memes.
And in no time, computer class ended.
"Hey Jen.... I just wanna say that your really smart for a cow girl. I'm glad I met you. You really are a inspiration to me and a lot of people in this school. You managed to get into the cheerleader squad while lugging around that udder of yours, while also being one of the smartest people I know. You are proof that people can be anything they want to be despite their bodies." Amanda said.
That... really touched Jen and really put her concerns about her reputation to rest. "Thank you Amanda... That means a lot to me."
"Hey Jen, what is your next class?" Susan asked.
Upon hearing Susan speak, Jen was reminded as to one of the reasons she focused so much on her work... She was trying to keep herself from jumping Susan right now and mating with her. It's that urge that makes it hard to think at the moment. She managed to hold off her urges for years due to lots of practice, so Jen should be able to come up with a answer to Susan's question that could get her mind off having babies. Right?
