Suffice to say it, Jessica was very shocked at what just happened. A minute ago, her and her boyfriend John were simply putting on a costume, just testing it out to see if they could fit in it. Oh boy, they sure did fit in it. So much, they fused with it, apparently. But even with that, that wasn't the craziest part. The suit and them fused into something REAL.
It was hard for her to think, as another voice spoke in her head. Likely John's, if they really fused together. She needed to fix this somehow.
She looked at the mirror. Well, what just happened was indeed magical. And she's heard that unicorns can use magic, according to fairy tales. When in Rome.
She closed her eyes and tried to focus on the horn on her forehead, finding it strange having something there were nothing was before. She felt it getting hot as some sort of energy started irradiating from it. She wasn't exactly sure what she was doing, but she just put all her willpower and intent into one idea. One spell or wish, or whatever she could call this.
She couldn't just undo all this. She had a sneaking suspicion it wouldn't be that simple. But, she could do the next best thing, for the moment. If she and John could split again, they can try to come up with ideas. She took a quick glance at the mirror again, seeing the pristine white unicorn mare, with a gaudy rainbow mane and tail, and strange golden horn. Despite the absurdity of this whole thing, she did look somewhat beautiful, in a strange mystical way.
She focused on that image, along with her intent, desiring John to become a unicorn just like her.
With a flash of light blinding her, she got knocked back from a burst of energy from her horn. She slowly got back up, and once her vision returned, she saw another unicorn.
"John?" she called out.
"Nngh...what happened?" John replied, his voice sounding very...feminine. "Wait...what's up with my voice?"
Uh-oh. Maybe she should have been more specific with her wish?
John turned around, lifting his tail, confirming that he was instead a she. She gave a little 'Eeek!' of embarrassment, sitting down on her haunches, and eliciting a barely restrained giggle from Jessica in return.
