The trek through the woods, though uneventful, was truly exhilarating but sadly was now at an end. Jane stopped in the thick foliage just before the break into civilization and focused on separating from the fox. She felt warmth overtake her as she once more seemed to fall into nothing.
She opened her eyes to the intense pain in her legs. She looked up. And... there was herself! The merging ring contained her mind to wrong body. Original Jane became the injured fox, but the fox's mind in Jane's body thought herself as real Jane, because of reality alternation of the ring. "Wait! Who are you! What are you doing to me!" The vixen Jane tried to said, but only thing she could do was staring and whimpering painfully.
“Thank you little guy. Being a fox is amazing and I’d like to join you again sometime but let’s get you fixed up!” The new Jane said after dressing up quickly. And she warped Jane, the vixen.
The vixen Jane was quite uncomfortable in there., but she couldn't do anything and she knew new Jane is going to vet's office, so she just stayed there.
After a few minutes, she heard the door opens and new Jane and Dr. Braugon, the vet are talking. Suddenly, the new Jane put her in the jacket on the desk, and unwarp the jacket to show her to the vet. “Oh no!” The receptionist jumped out of her seat and gazed on at the fox. “Poor little guy!" The vet said. She examined her little and said, "Looks like… well… could either be a break or a sprain."
The new Jane and the vet bit more about the vixen, and new Jane leaved. The new Jane said as she was going home. "Hm, that was very great! This ring is amazi... wait, where is it?" She looked at her finger, but ring wasn't there.
Fortunately for the vixen Jane, it was belonging to her. It was hard to keep it, however it was on the one of her toes of her paw. Although it confused the bodies, it came to its original owner.
