Chronivac Version 4.0

Turns out, erasing your Son is a BAD IDEA

Author note:
Deleting your Kid and destroying the Hardware? Not the smartest move, Ms Larson.

As the two Gillians continued to use the vibrator on themselves, going for another round of pleasure, an alarm popped up in the Transdem Mainframe, letting someone know that the young boy that had been sent one of the few Chronivac 4.0 Systems, had been erased from existence, and how.

Jackson Baker was an Administrator for the 4.0 System Network, and usually very happy with his work. Unfortunately, on rare occasions -such as this- he hated it with a Passion. Those that were chosen to receive a Chronivac 4.0 System were usually smart individuals, or careful, or intensely private people: perfect candidates to keep the Chronivac to themselves. Unfortunately, life finds a way to complicate things, and Jackson was one of a dozen employees tasked with making sure any errors that popped up thanks to Chronivacs were dealt with swiftly & efficiently.

That being said, he hated the 707 errors the most, *especially* if they were 707-OI errors, as this one was. A 707 Error referred to the User for the Chronivac System somehow being deleted from existence, while dash-OI meant Outside Interference. It meant that someone not the Registered User had found the Chronivac, and deleted the Original Owner from the timeline using it. This error however, was especially heinous. A 707-OI/CD only occurred when 3 things happened concurrently: Someone else used the Chronivac, they erased the Primary User from existence, and then they destroyed or corrupted the System Data in such a way that retrieval of the First Party was nigh impossible. And for it to have been the kid's own mother, no less!

As much as he hated this scenario, Jackson *did* have an out for poor Jake Larson, but he wasn't sure if the poor 14-year old would like his options. All Primary Users' personal data was saved onto the 4.0 Mainframe Archives, and were able to be retrieved easily enough... but only his mind. The Mainframe would select one of the 3 available backup options for his body at random, so he prayed for the kid to get lucky, and pressed the button to initiate the Backup Restoration
