Grace was shaking and just couldn’t accept was going on right now. It had been 35 minutes of looking at the other “Grace” who should be her son Zoran. The other “Grace” looked angry, but didn’t say anything but that look on “her” face was Grace’s “I am going to fucking explode look”. Grace usually kept her cool, she has only given this look a couple of times in the past couple of years, once when Don bought beanie babies thinking they are going to be a million dollar investment, once when Jane took Grace’s car out without her permission, and when Zoran lied out his math grade back in 6th grade. Grace now understood the intensity she gave off with this look and growling, as “Grace” was doing this right now.
“Zoran, explain yourself right this fucking instance!”
“Listen, I know this sounds crazy but you have to believe me, I am the real Grace, you were Zoran and this software allowed us to swap bodies, I don’t know what happened, but I think this machine it makes you think you’re me. Trust me I know it’s crazy, but you have to believe me.” Grace said to “herself”

“Oh my lord, there is no way Zoran would know about that, that’s something Don doesn’t even know. You really are me. How is this even possible?” “Grace” scratched her head
“Zoran, your former self I guess, offered to swap places so that I could get a break, we did, he started to act more and more like me, it was like he was getting too immersed in being me, I don’t know what happened but I think the program overwrote him with another me.”
“Wow I had no idea, it just feels weird, I feel have been me my entire life, is there any way we can restore him?”
“That’s what I thought the restore to default command would do, I am back to my former self but I don’t know why you didn’t transform back.”

Both Grace’s shed tears their son was dead, he no longer existed anymore, the Chronivac got rid of him, Grace was stuck with a clone of herself. They looked to the family photos and this reality alternation protocol was already working, pictures of Zoran were replaced with Grace2. They were the only one’s to remember what happened to their dear son.
