“The perfect yard,” Mason explained with a smile. “It’s a sports documentary about my favourite football player.”
“Oh...” Janette trailed in an unenthused tone she quickly tried to cover up. “Cool...
They found their seats in a pretty much abandoned theatre and she prepared herself for two straight hours of boredom. A few other people showed up but the theatre was more empty seats than full ones when the film started.
Something, something, football player, the second Mason was invested Janette let out a silent yawn and stared at the screen in boredom. Archive footage of some dude from the eighties played, taken on really choppy and old movie cameras. The narrator was putting her to sleep too as he explained the backstory of this player. Some poor upbringing with a bunch of siblings and no father around.
She let out her biggest yawn yet and when her mouth shut she had freckles bridging her nose and shoulders. They looked cute but she didn’t notice them, just scratching her face like it itched.
The documentary was fine, it was just about a guy who was so old and irrelevant. It explained all these hardships he went through and she could only scoff and roll her eyes. Yeah, college was soooo expensive back then. Give her a break. This guy didn’t have thousands of dollars in debt that would follow him for years. She couldn’t bother to be invested because most of the issues facing the guy weren’t issues she or anyone else today would go through.
Her brown hair began to lighten in tone, losing the brown colour and turning red. It then sucked back into her head until she was left with a cute pixie cut. She immediately scratched her hair like it itches and tried get comfortable.
Football just wasn’t her sport of interest. She and her dad used to watch Basketball together when she was still back home. She didn’t really understand it or the American obsession with it. The field was just so big and it took so long for anyone to score. It was a yawn worthy sport and the players she could hardly care any less about.
She adjusted in her seat as she got slimmer and her height dropped a little. She was only five foot two and skinny at that, not exactly the type of girl you’d call strong.
She smiled at the documentary but felt a Lang of jealousy. She liked football but couldn’t play it herself at any professional level. In fact most sports teams just ignored her because of her height, build, and gender. She was a better footballer, basketball player, and soccer player than any of her gigantic brothers and yet the only sports that ever paid her any attention were tennis and gymnastics. She was a master at those but had always dreamed of playing something bigger.
Her clothes began to change, but it was mostly relegated to her shirt. It expanded and transformed into a jersey, a big oversized jersey that hung off one shoulder and showed off the strap to her bra. She was always wearing one jersey or another for one of her favourite teams.
Sports were her freakin life, she was actually kind of annoyed at the documentary for glossing over so much information about such a famous player. She’d always wanted to play professionally but she just wasn’t big enough. She wasn’t even allowed to be a professional gymnast or dancer due to her height. It annoyed her to no end. It wasn’t her fault she was small and scrawny.
Well, that was why she liked big guys like Mason, she wanted to give her own kids a better chance than she’d had for getting into sports. Mason was tall, strong, and just the type to help her bear several big children. Plus he was hot and into sports and stuff.
When the movie finally finished Mason turned to ask Janette what she thought and nearly fell out of his chair in shock.
Janette had transformed into a really cute girl. She had short red hair on her scalp, freckles on her nose, shoulders, and the top of her breasts, and she was about a foot shorter than him and wearing a men’s jersey that buried her figure but didn’t take away from how hot she looked.
She complained inaccuracies in the documentary to the door and Mason couldn’t take his eyes off her, mouth agape and brain fizzling stupidly, unable to say anything to the girl his date had turned into. He wanted to kiss her and get into her pants, he gad to keep hiding his erection and felt his heart swell when’s he claimed it had been fun when the walk home ended. She claimed it would be cool to meet up again and Mason’s heart fluttered at that idea. He waved stupidly at her while she vanished into her dorm building, a completely new girl.
