The tinkle of that silver bell hung over the front door of his parlor, it stands ready to ring and announce the coming of his next victim.
"Tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, thud" the door opens and is closed behind the first customer of the day.
Standing there dressed in his black leathers and looking like mister tough guy Mike eyes the possible tatoo pictures hung on the walls. He is watched by the proprietor and pays the man no mind at all. He is looking for just one thing and wanting to see the design to be all ready in print is his first priotity. He had seen others get a special tatoo as per their special wants, only to see the artist screw it up and leave their markings a real mess.
"Are we looking for something special?" asked the man from behind the front counter.
Mike turns round and faces the man, cleearing his throat with two harsh hackings, then says," I'm Mike Lamb, I was looking for a picture showing the head of a male sheep, a ram, one with horns and looking mean!"
The proprietor just smiles and points toward the far corner of his shop. There placed in a grouping is pictures of bold looking farm animals. Mike walks that way seeing the largest being one of some massive headed spanish fighting bull. Another is of some grand horsehead, no doubt a picture of some fine stallion. A picture of one mean looking boar Hog having four curving tusks jutted out of its mouth. The picture of a big billy goat with yellow square pupil eyes was striking, if not quite what Mike had in mind.
Then he saw it, the gorgous picture of a ram sheep. It looked so real, so perfect it was like he could reach out and touch the wool growing on the Ram's face and head. Two curving horns wrapped about the animal head's ears facing the points forward for a proper defense. It looked just perfect to him and he turned to the shop owner, pointed at the picture, and smiled.
