John thought about the sentence he was looking at. There were a lot of edits he could make that would be funny. He could replace “husband” with dog and his dad would be a dog. That might be funny. But his dad was driving and that seemed like it might cause problems.
He could change “children” to “chickens” but that would change him too. Probably a bad idea.
Then he had an idea that seemed really funny. He selected “husband” and replaced it with “wife”. He figured his mom would become his dad and vice versa. But not quite.
His mother remained unchanged. But his father was completely different. Where before his father had been a tall white man with thinning hair and a sticky build, there now sat a squat red headed woman with wide hips and generous breasts.
John generated a sentence about his new mother. This one read “A shy redhead drives her wife and children to the beach house they rented.”
He wondered what to change about this sentence.
