If Ty's transformation began with a bang, Steph's next one began was a whimper. At first, he didn't even notice what was happening as she swallowed more and more of that accursed potion. Her belly had started to swell, popping a button and bursting from the lower half of her tunic. Ty had (wrongly) assumed that this was just her bloating from the ludicrous amount of liquid flowing from that canteen, but her exposed belly allowed him to see the reality of the situation.
Rather than behind taut and round, the exposed stomach and flabby and saggy. A pair of swelling love handles and a deep belly button made it clear; she wasn't bloating, she was fattening! Now aware of the nature of her change, more subtle changes were now plain as day: her chin, once sharply cut and statuesque, was softening thanks to the presence of a double double chin. Her the muscle tone of arms (both pairs) had disappeared beneath swelling layers of fat. Her thighs too fattened, as her horse-like thighs and calves literally exploded out of her trousers. The once powerful Orc was now hardly indistinguishable in shape from your Average American.
Had it ended there, it would have been bad enough, but that crimson liquid kept flowing and poor Steph kept growing. By the end of it, her body had lost most of both its muscular and feminine forms, replaced by a six hundred pound woman. The Goblins howled in laughter as Steph's eyes rolled back.
Ty watched in horror as the rolled the rotund woman onto what looked like some kind of sled. Using all their might, the remaining Goblin's dragged Steph away. Curiously, they didn't seem to be heading to the Alchemist Lab, but somewhere else entirely. Ty considered his options: did he shadow them until their next location, waiting for the perfect time to strike? Or did he attack now, realizing the gravity of the situation? Or perhaps he realized the futility of Steph's situation and left her behind...
