A great kingdom was at war with another. The Royal Family and their great sorcerers and sorceresses all went together and analyzed the battlefield. The Kingdom of T'urfraun had discovered the ability of machines and auto-mobiles, which was much easily operated than magic.
T'urfraun had taken over and enslaved all the other kingdoms but one, which seemed to be the most determined out of all of the other kingdoms. The Gladius kingdom was rich with knowledge, War preparations, Farming, Sorcery, and much more. If they were going down, they might as well go down with a fight. And so they fought. Sadly, the T'urfraun's great skill and mechanical marvels were enough to overwhelm the soldiers and sorcerers they were fighting.
In a desperate attempt in salvation, everyone in the kingdom was gathered at each of it's 7 main farms and were transformed into the animal they were assigned to. The sorcerers and sorceresses will also be transformed, but they just hold the power to turn back and do other things.
