Picking up her phone and looking things up, Alex started to realize something- you'd think that the wish would change it so every man with a position of authority was a woman now. But instead, it had altered reality so that women who became men now had that position of authority. For instance, when she looked up the President of the United States, she realized that man had been the First Lady, and the First Lady had been the President. It was the same for countries with women as their leaders- their husbands, who were now their wives, were leaders now.
Alex sighed. So she hadn't done anything to change gender inequality, that was a shame. She decided to look at her contacts next, and realized something else weird- his mom was her dad, and his dad her mom. Her friends were all the same, but the conversations they'd been having had changed- a platonic conversation he'd had with a guy he had a crush on was now very flirtatious, and a flirtatious conversation he'd had with a girl he liked was now platonic. Clearly she had the same difference in confidence with attraction to people of the opposite gender versus the same gender that he'd had as a man.
She decided to read back the conversation with her guy friend, and was surprised to realize reading it was turning her on a lot. Then she noticed he'd asked if she could come see her tomorrow- about an hour from now! She should get going.
Seeing her reflection and remembering she was still naked, she figured she should go get dressed. But when she opened her closet, she found she had loads of feminine clothes, and some more androgynous ones. She leafed through them and wondered what to go with...
