(note this is based on the movie "Stay Tuned" and the fairly odd parents tv movie "Channel Chasers" in other words the main character(s) are transported into the tv and interact with the shows and transforming in some based on what the show. To abide to the rules, dont use real shows....make up knockoffs like "Crazy Collectors" or "Weird magical fairies" or "Floor tots".)
Inside the shop was a remote but it wasnt just any remote. It transported the user into the world of television. Where they become a part of the tv show. They can come and go each channel/show as they please and can leave at anytime. However if they lose the remote or its destroyed they are stuck. If they are there till the end of the episode/movie....they will automatically go to the next channel. Tv rules will apply like cartoon physics but real rules will apply in normal shows so if you die...you die in dramas or any show where people can die.
